In the latest latest episode of Fifth Gear, Tiff and Jason take the 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S and the 2012 Nissan GT-R to the race track and conduct a comparison test to figure out which supercar is more impressive. The first chapter of comparison starts with the drag race. In the second test, both 530 HP sports cars have to go head to head around the circuit, to measure lateral G force and to see which one gives better lap time.
The 2012 Nissan GTR is powered by the same engine which is used in previous model (twin-turbo 3.8L V6) that develops 530hp / 390KW at 6,400rpm and 612Nm of torque between 3,200 and 6,000 rpm.
On the other hand, the 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by six-cylinder boxer engine, produces 530 bhp /390 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, which translates into a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds. The top speed that can be reached is rated at 315 km/h (195 mph)
